Pay Range
Up to $27 per hr
Responsibilities:
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers:
- Work alongside experienced plumbers to gain hands-on experience in various plumbing tasks.
- Learn and apply plumbing techniques, codes, and regulations.
- Installation and Repairs:
- Assist in the installation and repair of plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances.
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues and implement effective solutions.
- Reading Blueprints:
- Develop the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings related to plumbing projects.
- Tool Usage:
- Become proficient in the use of plumbing tools and equipment.
- Maintain and organize tools to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Participate in safety training programs as required.
- Customer Interaction:
- Interact professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Documentation:
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in or completed a recognized plumbing apprenticeship program is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments.
- Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
