Job Summary
QLM Skilled Trades is hiring General and Experienced Concrete Laborers for a long-term, full-time construction opportunity in North San Antonio.
We are looking for dependable workers who are comfortable performing physically demanding construction work and working outdoors. Concrete or rebar experience is preferred for higher-paying positions, but motivated general laborers are encouraged to apply.
Pay
- General/Inexperienced Laborers: $16.00–$18.00/hr
- Experienced Concrete Laborers: $18.00–$19.00/hr
- Approximately 50 hours per week, including overtime
Job Duties
Depending on experience, responsibilities may include:
- Precast concrete production
- Rebar installation and preparation
- Concrete forming, pouring, and finishing
- Working with precast concrete beams and structural components
- Loading, unloading, and moving construction materials
- General construction labor
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Following all safety procedures and jobsite requirements
- Performing physically demanding work throughout the shift
- Working outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to the jobsite is required
- Must be dependable and able to work 10-hour shifts
- Must be comfortable performing physical construction work
- Must be willing to work outdoors in inclement weather
- Concrete, precast, or rebar experience is preferred for higher-paying positions
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a crew
- Strong attendance and a good work ethic are required
