Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and dependable Concrete Carpenters / Finishers for a construction project in Milton, Florida. Qualified candidates must have hands-on experience with concrete formwork, pouring, finishing, and general construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of concrete construction techniques, the ability to work safely around heavy equipment, and experience working on commercial or industrial construction projects.

Pay Range

$22.00 per hour

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Concrete Carpenter, Concrete Finisher, or Form Carpenter required.
  • Experience with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to operate concrete finishing tools and basic carpentry equipment.
  • Knowledge of construction measurements and layout procedures.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors.
  • Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, kneeling, and standing.
  • Reliable transportation to the jobsite in Milton, FL.
  • Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.
  • OSHA 10 certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, install, align, and remove concrete forms for foundations, slabs, walls, and other concrete structures.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood or other forming materials according to project specifications.
  • Assist with pouring, spreading, leveling, and finishing concrete.
  • Use hand tools and power tools, including concrete floats, trowels, screeds, and finishing equipment.
  • Perform concrete finishing techniques to achieve smooth, level, and properly textured surfaces.
  • Assist with installing reinforcing materials, including rebar and wire mesh.
  • Read and interpret basic construction drawings, measurements, and layout instructions.
  • Repair concrete imperfections and perform finishing touch-ups as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work alongside supervisors, equipment operators, and other construction crew members.
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and all jobsite safety requirements.
  • Perform additional construction duties as assigned.
