Job Summary
We are partnering with a rapidly growing electrical contractor based in New Orleans that is expanding its leadership team to support a growing portfolio of large-scale commercial projects throughout Louisiana and the Gulf Coast region. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced electrical construction leaders looking for long-term growth with a company that values safety, quality, and professional development. Area Superintendent will play a critical role in overseeing field operations for large commercial electrical construction projects. These individuals will be responsible for managing manpower, productivity, safety, quality control, scheduling, and overall project execution while serving as key leaders between field personnel and company management. Candidates should have extensive experience leading large electrical construction teams and delivering complex commercial projects on schedule and within budget.

Pay Range
$40-$45 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations on assigned project sites.
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce all safety requirements.
- Assist with manpower planning and workforce management.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Foremen to address field challenges.
- Track productivity and provide progress updates to leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent, Area Superintendent, General Superintendent, or similar leadership role.
- Strong background in large-scale commercial electrical construction.
- Experience managing multiple crews and supervising large field teams.
- Proven ability to coordinate manpower, schedules, and project resources.
- Thorough understanding of electrical installation methods and construction processes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore is preferred.
- Ability to travel locally as project needs require.
