Job Summary

Responsible for providing customer service, managing entry fees, and overseeing operations at the bait and tackle shop. Duties include processing daily payments for spectators and fishermen, selling fishing supplies, and ensuring smooth operations and work area.

Pay Range

$16 per hour

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Reliability in handling cash transactions.
  • Basic knowledge of fishing is preferred for assisting in the bait and tackle shop.
  • Ability to work in an outdoor, coastal environment. 
  • Open availability based on business needs.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Able to work in the United States

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Cash Handling & Ticketing: Collecting daily parking and, or fishing fees from visitors, including spectators (
  • Bait & Tackle Shop Management: Operating the coastal tackle shop, selling fishing gear, and assisting with bait sales.
  • Customer Service: Providing information to the public regarding pier regulations, fishing licenses, and facility hours.
  • General Maintenance: Ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the pier and, or the shop area.
  • Operational Support: Assisting with the management of beach access points and potential monitoring of seasonal amenities.
