Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Form Carpenters to support a long‑term construction project in Delhi, LA. This position is responsible for building, setting, aligning, and stripping concrete form systems for structural work. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with form carpentry, can work efficiently in a high‑production environment, and is comfortable working extended hours on a travel schedule. This role offers steady work plus overtime. $22-$25 per hour $50/ 7 day per Diem Lodging provided Plus 3 meals a day

Pay Range

$23-27 per hour

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Place, spread, level, and finish freshly poured concrete.
  • Screed, float, edge, groove, and trowel concrete to achieve specified finishes.
  • Operate power trowels, vibrators, screeds, and other concrete finishing equipment.
  • Apply curing compounds and protect finished concrete surfaces.
  • Check elevations, slopes, and surface tolerances to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Repair surface imperfections and perform patchwork as needed.
  • Assist with concrete forms, reinforcement installation, and preparation before pours.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow supervisor instructions, project specifications, and OSHA safety requirements.
  • Work efficiently to meet production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of commercial or industrial concrete finishing experience preferred.
  • Ability to place, screed, bull float, edge, joint, and finish concrete to specification.
  • Experience with hand tools and power finishing equipment, including walk-behind and ride-on power trowels.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layout information.
  • Knowledge of proper concrete placement, curing methods, and finishing techniques.
  • Experience forming, reinforcing, and pouring concrete is a plus.
  • Ability to establish grades and maintain proper elevations.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work, including bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
  • Reliable transportation to designated meeting locations or project sites.
  • Willingness to travel for extended project assignments.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing, if required.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred but not required.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to work well with a team.
