Quality Labor Management is seeking experienced Drywall Carpenters to join our team. As a Drywall Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, repairing, and framing drywall systems for a variety of commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, laying out walls and ceilings, hanging drywall, and ensuring all work meets project specifications and quality standards. Your craftsmanship will play a vital role in delivering durable, precise, and professional finished spaces while maintaining a safe and productive job site.

Pay Range

$25-$30 per hour

Responsibilities of a Drywall Carpenter:

  • Measure, cut, hang, and secure drywall panels on walls and ceilings according to project specifications.
  • Layout and frame interior walls, ceilings, soffits, and other drywall systems using metal or wood studs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation.
  • Install corner bead, trim, backing, insulation, and other components required for drywall assemblies.
  • Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall joints to prepare surfaces for painting or final finishes.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and laser/layout equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality, proper alignment, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and job site safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while properly storing materials and equipment.
