Job Summary
QLM (Quality Labor Management) is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Electrician Helpers to join Clark Electric on a commercial electrical project at a U.S. Post Office facility in Tallahassee, Florida. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of electrical work, experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to assist skilled electricians with electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Pay Range
$23 per hour
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous electrical helper or construction experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical tools, materials, and terminology.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of licensed electricians.
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site in Tallahassee, FL.
- Must have appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, work boots, and gloves.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working on ladders and in commercial construction environments.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Must meet any applicable background screening and site-access requirements for the postal facility.
Preferred Skills
- Experience assisting with commercial electrical installations.
- Familiarity with conduit installation and wire pulling.
- Ability to identify common electrical materials and equipment.
- Experience working on government or commercial construction projects is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installing electrical wiring, conduit, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
- Help measure, cut, bend, and install electrical conduit.
- Pull electrical wires and cables through conduits and designated pathways.
- Assist with installing electrical panels, junction boxes, and electrical equipment.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment throughout the job site.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Follow OSHA regulations and all job-site safety procedures.
- Perform additional electrical support duties as assigned by the supervisor.
