Job Summary
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team working construction projects across Houston. This is a full-time long-term position and once this project is completed you will move to another project in the area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various alarm systems, including fire alarms and low voltage systems. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with power tools, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Alarm Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ properties through effective alarm system management.

$24-26 per hour
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the alarm or security industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using power tools.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and low voltage wiring practices.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience in construction inspection is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Pay: $24.00-26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems, including fire alarms and low voltage systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during installations and repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with construction teams during installation projects to ensure seamless integration of alarm systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and providing technical support as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to alarm systems.
