Pay Range
$20 – $26 per hour
Will be doing groundwork and installing civil infrastructure for large civil, commercial and industrial projects in the Geismar, Covington, Reserve, and New Orleans Area.
Requirements:
– Valid heavy equipment operator license/certification (TWIC CARD A PLUS!!)
– Previous experience operating various heavy machinery
– Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
– Physical stamina and ability to work in different weather conditions
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
– Operate heavy machinery, such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, etc.
– Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment
– Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
– Collaborate with the construction team to complete projects efficiently
– Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
– Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance
