Job Summary

Compensation Base Salary: $130,000 Performance Bonus Vehicle Allowance: $900/month Per Diem: $120/day while traveling Comprehensive benefits package Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, field operations, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience managing HVAC, plumbing, and process piping projects and possess strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills.

Pay Range

$130k per year

  • Manage multiple commercial mechanical construction projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Monitor project costs, forecasting, and profitability.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate activities with field supervisors, foremen, and safety personnel.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits and project meetings to ensure progress and quality standards are met.
  • Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
  • Manage project closeout activities, including punch lists and turnover documentation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial mechanical construction.
  • Proven experience managing HVAC, plumbing, and/or process piping projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost controls, scheduling, and project financials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, Viewpoint, BIM 360, or similar construction software.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Experience with design-build or negotiated projects is a plus.

Travel Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel extensively to project sites.
  • Travel requirement of approximately 80-100%.
