Job Summary

The QC Manager is responsible for implementing and managing the Quality Control (QC) program in collaboration with the project superintendent. This includes coordinating multiple QC engineers on one or more projects, working closely with the Project Manager (PM) and Project Superintendent (PS) to resolve QC issues to stakeholder satisfaction, and participating in regional QC promotion efforts

Pay Range

$78.5-$101k per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific QC programs, including QC plans, process logs, test registers, and quality point files
  • Lead weekly QC meetings and ensure adherence to the six-step QC/safety process
  • Coordinate QC activities across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with PM, PS, and multidisciplinary teams to address quality and safety concerns.
  • Participate in regional QC initiatives to improve standards and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field
  • Experience: Minimum 5–7 years on large commercial construction projects
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, valid driver’s license, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel-based templates), Prolog, Primavera, and AutoCAD

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, onsite role at a designated location in El Paso.
  • Safety-sensitive duties requiring compliance with security and background checks

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Estimated salary range: $78.5K – $101K annually
