Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in new construction and underground electrical work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing electrical systems according to blueprints, project plans, submittals, and specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and project timelines.

Pay Range

$34-40 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform underground electrical work, rough-ins, and device installations according to project plans and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and submittals to ensure accurate installations.
• Coordinate with general contractors (GCs), subcontractors, and other trades to maintain project progress.
• Monitor work quality and ensure installations meet project requirements and safety standards.
• Meet or exceed established project schedules and deadlines.
• Mentor, assist, and train electrical apprentices as needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

Pay Rate: $34–$40 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, working either 5/8s (40 hours per week) or 5/10s (50 hours per week), depending on the project schedule.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Journeyman-level electrical experience, preferably in new construction and underground work.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and project specifications.
• Strong quality control, project coordination, and time management skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with GCs, contractors, and other trades.
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train apprentices.
• Strong commitment to jobsite safety and electrical standards.
