Job Summary
Our client, a well-established electrical contractor with a strong presence throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market, is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial, industrial, and large-scale construction projects. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with extensive electrical construction experience who can effectively manage crews, maintain production schedules, uphold quality standards, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Pay Range
$160k-$190k per year
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily field operations on electrical construction projects throughout the DFW area.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project resources to meet schedule requirements.
- Develop and maintain short-term construction schedules and daily work plans.
- Monitor workforce productivity and ensure proper manpower utilization.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate field personnel.
- Coordinate activities with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades.
- Conduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure quality workmanship and code compliance.
- Maintain daily reports, timekeeping records, safety documentation, and project logs.
- Identify and resolve field issues that may impact project schedules, budgets, or productivity.
- Ensure all installations comply with NEC requirements, project specifications, and local codes.
- Assist in workforce planning, hiring recommendations, and employee development initiatives.
- Promote a strong culture of safety and accountability across all jobsites.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to project leadership.
- Manage employee performance, coaching, corrective actions, and performance evaluations as needed.
- Coordinate material deliveries to support project schedules and avoid delays.
- Perform additional duties as required to support successful project execution.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
- 5+ years of experience in a Superintendent or Senior Field Leadership role preferred.
- Strong commercial and industrial electrical construction experience.
- Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Experience managing crews, schedules, and multiple project priorities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Knowledge of project scheduling and estimating processes is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and construction-related software.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding project areas as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in outdoor construction environments and varying weather conditions.
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing 50+ pounds.
- Must wear required PPE on all jobsites.
- Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules when project demands require.
