Job Summary
The Flux Core Welder will be responsible for performing structural welds on various types of metal being fabricated in a new fabrication shop. This role requires expertise in flux core welding techniques and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Pay Range
$25-$30 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Welding: Perform flux core welding on structural components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Material Preparation: Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and shaping as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a flux core welder or in a similar role.
- Skills: Proficiency in flux core welding techniques and the use of welding equipment.
- Certifications: Welding certification is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in various positions including standing, bending, and kneeling.
