Job Summary
We are looking for experienced pipe layers with 1-2 years of commercial experience to help us on our various waste water projects across Houston.

Pay Range
$20-22 per hour
Responsibilities
- Workdays are Monday – Friday, starting at 6:00 AM, working 8-9 hours per day with overtime available at times
- Setting water pumps
- Running PVC pipes above ground
- Cut pipes to required length
- Align and position pipes to prepare them for sealing or joining
- Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers
- Connect pipe pieces and seal joints by either bolting, cement, or glue
- Tap and drill holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices
- Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools
- Other general labor and construction duties as required
- Standing for prolonged periods
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching
- Pushing and pulling heavy objects
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience in construction
- 1 year of experience with pipe laying techniques
- Willing to submit to a drug screen
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must have reliable transportation
