Mechanical QC Coordinator

This candidate is an AWS Certified Welding Inspector and API 1169 Pipeline Construction Inspector with 25+ years in pipeline, compressor station, and industrial piping construction. He progressed from laborer to pipeline welder, lead welder, welding supervisor, welding inspector, and superintendent. He is currently Superintendent for a pipeline services contractor on a contract pipeline project. His inspection experience includes fit-up, root and cover passes, heat treatment, tie-in welds, fabrication, and in-service welding; verification of heat numbers, materials, and welder qualifications; and witnessing RT, MT, PT, UT, hydrostatic, strength, leak, and nitrogen testing. He maintains weld logs, builds weld and heat maps in Bluebeam, reviews WPSs, MTRs, pipe tallies, and NDT reports, and has field leadership experience through mechanical completion.
