As an HVAC Sheet Metal mechanic, you will work independently and as part of a team to ensure all work meets the highest standards of safety and quality.

Pay Range
$25-$36 per hour
Qualifications of a Sheet Metal Mechanic:
• Minimum of [3] years of experience as an HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities of a Sheet Metal Mechanic:
- Installing ductwork for remodel projects
- Repairing existing systems
- Making plans and material estimates for each project
- Testing and examining systems for quality
- Advising less specialized workers on the site
- Fastening metal seams, welding, bolting, creating supportive frameworks, taking measurements and maneuvering material around
- Installing HVAC ducts, metal roofing, gutters and siding
- Repairing, altering, and installing sheet metal products and equipment, including ducts and hoods for HVAC systems
- Cutting, shaping, and bending metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures
