Job Summary
The HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic/Welder will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and repairing HVAC ductwork and components. This role requires a strong background in both sheet metal work and welding to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and durability in our projects.

Pay Range
$28-$30 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork and HVAC components.
- Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG and flux-cored) to secure metal parts and assemblies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and local building codes.
- Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise during installations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding with a strong sheet metal background.
- Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG and flux-cored).
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
