Job Summary
QLM is hiring an experienced Electrical Millwright to start on a project here in Phoenix. As an Electrical Millwright they will be responsible for repairing, and replacing the electrical systems for the conveyor belts and assisting in any electrical duties on site.

Pay Range
$28-$35 per hour
You will be responsible for dismantling machinery, transferring equipment, interpreting blueprints/schematics, and installing equipment. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of hydraulics, belt systems, motors, and other industrial machine mechanisms essential for job procedures. Must be a team player with strong attention to detail. In this position, you should also be able to troubleshoot and perform repairs and be a problem solver.
Responsibilities include:
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation.
- Build the foundation for machines.
- Construct and install large industrial machinery and equipment.
- Review and interpret schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
- Transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards.
- Work with a range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and brazing equipment.
- Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
Basic responsibilities for an Electrical Millwright include:
- Installing and commissioning single-phase AC machines and control gear.
- Maintaining and repairing single-phase AC machines and control gear.
- Fault finding on single-phase AC systems.
- Repairing and maintaining electric power tools.
- Maintaining lighting systems.
- Linking electrical structures to power supplies and fixing faulty parts.
- Analyzing drawings.
- Disassembling machines to detect faults.
- Diagnosing malfunctioning devices including transformers, motor starters, motors, PLCs, VFDs, and light fixtures.
- Installing and repairing receptacles, lights, light switches, AC motors, panel boards, and conveyor belts.
