Pay Range
$18.00 $22.00 per hr
Qualifications of a Sheet Metal Mechanic:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic
· Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, blueprints, and schematics.
· Proficiency with hand and power tools.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities of a Sheet Metal Mechanic:
· Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the necessary amount of material required to complete projects.
· Measure and cut material.
· Operate all equipment necessary to complete projects including milling machines, saws, drills, etc.
· Inspect and maintain material quality.
· Document and submit work orders as necessary.
· Work as a team with other employees to complete projects safely and efficiently.
· Maintain a clean work area and perform regular housekeeping.
· Perform other related duties as assigned
