Job Summary
Summer Field Engineer Internship – College Station, TX We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented college student to join our team as a Field Engineer Intern for an exciting summer project in College Station, Texas on the TAMU campus. This internship offers hands-on experience in construction and engineering, giving you the opportunity to assist with the installation of materials, layout of equipment, and quality assurance on-site. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals and gain exposure to mechanical trades, plumbing, and pipefitting —perfect for students pursuing degrees in construction science.

Pay Range
$18 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Help with layout of equipment and materials (critical task)
- Support in identifying and managing RFIs (Requests for Information)
- Track and help report any changes in project scope
- Contribute to quality assurance and control efforts
- Observe and assist in resolving on-site issues
- Help perform material take-offs
- Participate in quality control checks and inspections
- Support layout for line and grade
- Gain exposure to construction documentation and contracts
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Interest in mechanical systems, equipment layout, and quality control
- Willingness to work outdoors on active construction sites
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Bilingual a plus but not required
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
