Job Summary
The Door Frame Installer 1 is responsible for the professional installation of commercial and residential door frames, ensuring quality workmanship, precision, and compliance with project specifications. This role requires a solid understanding of door framing techniques, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Pay Range
$18-$20 per hour
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of door framing techniques and materials.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments.
- Experience in construction, carpentry, or door installation is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in door frame installation.
- Familiarity with ADA and fire-rated door frame requirements.
- Experience working with hollow metal, aluminum, and wood door frames.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to job site conditions.
Work Conditions:
- Requires travel to different job sites.
- Work in indoor and outdoor environments, including active construction sites.
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install metal, wood, and hollow metal door frames according to specifications and building codes.
- Measure, cut, and modify materials to ensure accurate fit and alignment.
- Secure frames to walls, floors, and ceilings using appropriate hardware and fasteners.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and manufacturer installation guidelines.
- Ensure all door frames are level, plumb, and securely installed.
- Work efficiently within project timelines and collaborate with team members, contractors, and supervisors.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure proper installation and durability.
- Follow all workplace safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
