Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Stainless TIG Welders for a 10-day plant shutdown project. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing piping and machinery, working 10-hour shifts every day from June 23 to July 3. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Shift: 10-hour day shifts, June 23 – July 3 Compensation: $32 per hour, $120 per diem

Pay Range
$32 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel piping and machinery according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings.
- Measure, cut, and prepare stainless steel materials for welding.
- Ensure welds meet quality standards and are free of defects.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project completion.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder, specifically with stainless steel.
- Proficiency in using TIG welding equipment and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work in various positions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a TIG welding apprenticeship program is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with industrial or plant shutdown projects.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in TIG welding.
