Job Summary
***MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON FORT GORDON*** Essential Duties: 1. Install, troubleshoot, test and repair of low voltage systems (i.e LAN; PA, CCTV, CCATV, Intercom). 2. Install, troubleshoot, control circuits, conduits and duct systems, light and power circuits . 3. Analyze load size circuits, raceways, and panel capacities and read blue print schematics. 4. Install necessary interior and exterior wiring for equipment and appliances. 5. Assist with in shop repairs of electronic equipment. 6. Install, test, and maintain storage batteries. 7. Attend training, workshops, in-services, and continuing education as requested by the department supervisor. 8. Assist in the training of other personnel in the department. 9. Maintain records on work performed.

Pay Range
$27.00 per hour
Cable Puller is a skilled construction laborer who installs electrical, data, or fiber optic wiring by threading and pulling cables through conduits, walls, and ceilings. They work with teams, interpret blueprints, ensure safety compliance, and operate tools to secure cables, often performing physically demanding, repetitive work.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of audio visual, low voltage & intercom systems and installation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to read installation and system manuals.
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans.
- Ability to use hand and power tools to install hardware.
