Job Summary
The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and delivering electrical construction projects from award through closeout across commercial and industrial job sites. This role oversees project scheduling, field manpower, materials, budgets, and communication among internal teams, clients, general contractors, vendors, and inspectors. Acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, the Electrical Project Manager ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with electrical codes, project specifications, and company quality standards. This role works closely with Superintendents, Foremen, engineers, and office personnel to ensure seamless project execution.

Pay Range
$120k-$140k per year
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of electrical construction projects from planning to completion.
- Review, interpret, and verify project plans, electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Prepare, submit, and track project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and approvals.
- Coordinate procurement of materials, tools, and equipment; manage vendor relationships and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain project schedules; coordinate manpower with Superintendents and Foremen.
- Communicate proactively with general contractors, clients, inspectors, utility companies, and internal teams.
- Schedule and manage required inspections; ensure all permitting requirements are fulfilled.
- Monitor job progress, track costs, manage budgets, and forecast labor and material needs.
- Identify and resolve project issues, scope discrepancies, delays, or conflicts.
- Conduct regular job site visits to evaluate progress, quality, productivity, and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, as‑builts, and closeout packages.
- Ensure full compliance with the NEC, local electrical codes, and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of electrical construction experience required.
- Prior experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager in electrical contracting.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation methods, and construction processes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Solid knowledge of NEC, local code requirements, and permitting processes.
- Hands-on experience managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project logs.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management software is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
COMPENSATION: $120k-$140k per year plus medical, dental, vision and 401k!
