Job Summary
QLM is currently seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to support the Safety Director on a project-specific assignment in Austin, TX. This is an onsite temp-to-perm opportunity for a bilingual safety professional with strong construction field experience. The Safety Specialist will work closely with the Safety Director and Superintendents to help maintain jobsite safety compliance, enforce OSHA standards, and support daily field operations

Pay Range
$30.00-32.00per hour
Responsibilities
- Assist the Safety Director with daily site safety operations
- Conduct jobsite safety walks and hazard assessments
- Ensure crews are following OSHA and company safety standards
- Partner with superintendents to address and correct safety concerns
- Support incident reporting, documentation, and corrective actions
- Help lead toolbox talks, orientations, and safety meetings
- Maintain project-specific safety documentation and compliance records

- 3–5 years of construction safety experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Strong ability to communicate with field teams, subcontractors, and leadership
- Comfortable working onsite in an active construction environment
- Must be able to report directly to superintendents and Safety Director
- Reliable transportation to and from the project site
