Pay Range
$31- $40 per hour
The Project Manager’s responsibilities:
– Maintain a strong relationship with customers and develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs and expectations.
– Review and interpret CAD, PDF, SolidWorks or other files to accurately determine material, labor and other requirements
– Prepare competitive, accurate and profitable quotes for the fabrication of metal products and any secondary operations or outsourced parts/services
– Manage changes and update quotes/orders when required
– Maintain strong communication and work closely with the management, production and office teams
– Assist in purchasing materials, hardware, other purchase items or outsourced parts from vendors and suppliers
Candidates must have the following education, experience and skills:
– 10 years of project management experience with cross-functional teams in a metal fabrication or manufacturing company/industry
– Strong knowledge base in all areas of metal fabrication manufacturing processes including (but not limited to): laser cutting, forming, welding, machining.
– Proficiency with SolidWorks and CAD software
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to make important project-related decisions under pressure
– Able to read and understand manufacturing drawings and tolerances
– Knowledge of standard fabrication practices and various metal types
– Team player, motivator, planner and problem solver
– Organization and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while working independently
