Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication and a commitment to producing high-quality work that meets industry standards. Responsibilities Interpret and read drawings to determine project specifications Perform various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, to fabricate sheet metal parts and/or structural weldments Build and assemble metal structures according to design specifications Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards throughout the fabrication process Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure accuracy and durability Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols

Pay Range
$25 to $28 per hour
Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques with a focus on MIG and TIG welding
- The ability to weld stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum materials including: sheet metal, plate, structural, etc.
- Seasoned experience with metal fabrication shops and equipment
- Understanding of industry standards related to welding and fabrication
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a family-oriented environment
- Strong leadership history and the ability to effectively communicate, instruct and teach processes as needed with newer welders
