Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Technician to install, maintain, and repair fiber optic and electrical systems. Pay Range
$29.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cables and related equipment
- Perform electrical work related to fiber systems, including grounding and power connections
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Conduct network testing using OTDR and other diagnostic tools
- Maintain and repair existing fiber optic and electrical systems
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal safety regulations
- Work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors when required
- Document installations, maintenance, and repairs accurately.
