Architectural Metal Installer
Position Summary:
We are seeking skilled and motivated Architectural Metal Installers to join our team. This role involves installing a variety of architectural metal products, including panels, railings, canopies, and custom fabrications, in commercial and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install architectural metal fixtures accurately and efficiently according to project specifications and drawings. (ex hand railings and staircases)
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documents.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and equipment required for installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site installation issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural metal installation or related trade (commercial construction experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of installation techniques, fastening systems, and materials.
- Proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding processes (certifications G1–G4 are a plus).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards; OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
- Forklift, lift, and equipment certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and a strong team player.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
