QLM Has a client seeking a Specialty Assembly. The Assembler will be responsible for putting together products and parts for our company. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling products and parts, and will be able to work quickly and efficiently. Pay Range
$21 -$23 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble Products – Construct components and finished products following blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
- Use Hand & Power Tools – Operate drills, saws, fasteners, and other tools safely and effectively.
- Ensure Quality & Precision – Inspect parts for defects, measure accurately, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Follow Safety Protocols – Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and proper equipment handling procedures.
- Collaborate with Team – Work closely with other assemblers, supervisors, and departments to meet production goals.
- Read & Interpret Schematics – Understand technical drawings, measurements, and specifications for accurate assembly.
- Perform Adjustments & Repairs – Identify issues during assembly and make necessary modifications or corrections.
- Maintain Clean Workspace – Keep workstations organized and ensure tools and materials are stored properly.
This role requires attention to detail, mechanical skills, and a strong work ethic to support high-quality production standards.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Hands-on Assembly Experience – Previous experience in manufacturing, carpentry, or mechanical assembly.
- Proficiency with Tools – Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Blueprint & Schematic Reading – Understanding technical drawings, measurements, and assembly instructions.
- Attention to Detail – Ensuring precision in measurements, cuts, and assembly to meet quality standards.
- Physical Stamina – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Teamwork & Communication – Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work in cabinetry, furniture assembly, or metal fabrication is a plus.
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or custom fabrication environments.
- Familiarity with automated and manual assembly processes.
