Pay Range
$90k-$110k per year
THE ROLE
This is a working field leadership role — part superintendent, part working foreman. You’ll own the day-to-day execution of bridge construction operations: managing your crew, coordinating equipment, sourcing materials, and keeping the project moving with minimal escalation. You report directly to the Project Manager and are expected to be self-sufficient and decisive in the field.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage a crew including a crew lead, crane operator, skilled laborers, and concrete finishers
Operate and direct excavators and related heavy civil equipment
Read grade stakes and manage grading operations on bridge and civil scopes
Source own materials and obtain competitive quotes independently
Maintain site safety standards; enforce OSHA protocols and lead by example
Coordinate with PM on schedule, progress, and any field-level issues
Serve as the on-site point of contact for daily operations and crew accountability
REQUIREMENTS
Bridge construction experience is an absolute must — no exceptions
South Carolina DOT (SCDOT) experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and work to grade stakes
Hands-on leadership style; comfortable working alongside your crew
Experience with excavators and heavy civil equipment
Self-sufficient operator — sources materials, solves problems, makes it happen
OSHA-30 preferred
Strong team orientation and collaborative attitude
COMPENSATION
$90k-$110k Per Year
$25/day per diem

SCHEDULE 4x9s + half-day Fridays | Sunday night travel as needed for project locations across South Carolina
