Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our fabrication shop team in Decatur, AL. This temp-to-perm position involves constructing and installing cable tray supports and related structures for industrial applications. Ideal candidates will have experience in metal and wood framing, blueprint reading, and working in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Pay Range
$20-$25 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and install cable tray supports according to shop drawings and specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble framing materials (wood, metal, or composite)
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ensure structural integrity and alignment of installed supports
- Collaborate with welders, electricians, and shop supervisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter in industrial or commercial settings
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in using saws, drills, levels, and other carpentry tools
- Familiarity with cable tray systems and support structures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or elevated platforms
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
