Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to oversee and manage a team of carpenters working on commercial building projects during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have extensive carpentry skills, prior leadership experience, and the ability to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.

Pay Range
$30-$35 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct a team of carpenters and construction laborers.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine dimensions and materials required.
- Plan and execute work procedures, interpret specifications, and coordinate various phases of construction.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules.
- Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, and flooring.
- Order materials and supplies, and maintain records as required.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure job satisfaction and project completion.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work night shifts and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in commercial construction projects.
- Familiarity with construction safety regulations.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
