Pay Range
$26-$30 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.
- Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code.
- Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep electrical systems in working order.
- Communicate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure electrical systems meet set specifications.
- Complete job reports and order supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid electrician license.
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Ability to use electrical testing devices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
