Pay Range
$50K – $70K per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including government contracts.
- Utilize Procore software for project management, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
- Apply RSMeans for estimating costs, preparing bid proposals, and reviewing project scope. – HUGE PLUS!
- Review project drawings, blueprints, and specifications to identify key cost factors.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to gather quotes and ensure accuracy in estimates.
- Stay up-to-date on current construction costs, industry trends, and government regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure project costs align with budgets and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Estimator, with a focus on government projects.
- Strong knowledge of Procore for construction management and estimating.
- Familiarity with RSMeans estimating software is a huge plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Experience with commercial construction budgets, schedules, and scope management.
- Strong understanding of building codes, permits, and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
