Pay Range
$35-$50 per hour
Seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent with experience in K-12 school construction. The Superintendent will oversee on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors and field staff, ensure schedule and quality control, and uphold safety standards throughout all phases of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily field operations on active K-12 school construction sites
- Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors and site personnel
- Ensure work is progressing according to schedule and specifications
- Conduct site walkthroughs and inspections to maintain quality control
- Communicate project status with project managers, architects, and school officials
- Enforce jobsite safety and compliance with OSHA
- Maintain project documentation including daily reports, logs, and site records
- Assist in resolving field conflicts and unforeseen issues
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Strong background in K-12 or public-sector projects
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Deep understanding of construction processes, drawings, and schedules
- Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid, etc.)
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check for work on school campuses
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
