As a Construction Superintendent for healthcare facilities, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with healthcare codes and standards.

Pay Range
$36 – $42 per hour
Qualifications – Construction Superintendent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial projects
- Proven experience overseeing healthcare, hospital, or medical facility construction preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, sequencing, and scheduling
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, ICRA requirements, and life-safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage multiple trades on site
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
- Ability to work in active or occupied healthcare environments with minimal disruption
- Proficient with construction documentation, reporting, and basic project software
- Healthcare construction experience (hospitals, clinics, medical offices)
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods
- Ability to manage daily site operations and subcontractor coordination
- Familiarity with healthcare codes, ICRA, and infection control procedures
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specs, and schedules
- Strong scheduling and workflow planning skills
- Quality control and inspection oversight
- Safety management (OSHA standards and site safety enforcement)
- Experience working in occupied or active healthcare environments
- Effective communication with project managers, inspectors, and facility staff
- Problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced jobsite conditions
