Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Drywall Carpenter to join our team for a multifamily new build project. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining drywall structures, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to building codes.

Pay Range
$25-$28 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to fit in designated spaces on walls and ceilings.
- Secure drywall panels to building frameworks using screws, nails, or adhesives.
- Apply tape and joint compound to seams and corners, ensuring a smooth and seamless finish.
- Sand joints and holes after the compound dries to achieve a uniform surface.
- Repair and patch existing drywall structures as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and standards.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including HVAC technicians, to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent years of work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in drywall installation and repair.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy materials.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
