Job Summary
An Electrical Estimator is responsible for reviewing, estimating, preparing electrical quotes and proposals. Estimators implement effective cost strategy measures to increase the Company’s effectiveness and efficiency.

Pay Range
$70-$90K per year
Electrical Estimator Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project
- Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product
- Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
- Creating labor estimates for any project
- Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors
- Managing bids from vendors and contractors
- Using bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis
- Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders
- Compiling and recording actual costs
Electrical Estimator Skills:
- Stable work history with 5+ years experience estimating Large Commercial Electrical Projects
- Be understanding of the electrical industry
- MUST have experience with McCormick,
- Excellent computer skills including a mastery of MS Office products, Accubid, Autodesk, and Bluebeam bidding software experience,
- Experience bidding large commercial projects
- Possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a diverse, dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Good communicator
