Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Foreman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The Electricidal Foreman will oversee a variety of electrical components, including wiring, circuit boards, outlets, switches, and electrical panels, ensuring they are functioning safely and efficiently. Position Description:
The Electricidal Foreman will oversee a variety of electrical components, including wiring, circuit boards, outlets, switches, and electrical panels, ensuring they are functioning safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards to include
:
- Installing and wiring electrical systems for new construction, remodels, or upgrades in homes, offices, and commercial buildings.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems, including faulty wiring, malfunctioning outlets, and defective electrical panels.
- Performing electrical repairs and replacements for various components, such as switches, circuit breakers, outlets, and wiring.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and diagrams to install and repair systems accurately.
- Ensuring all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Performing inspections and routine maintenance to ensure electrical systems are operating efficiently and safely.
- Responding to emergency electrical issues and providing timely solutions to prevent disruptions.
- Communicating with clients to explain issues, recommend solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Adhering to safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols during all electrical work.
Skills Desired:
- Electrical Knowledge: Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components, including wiring, outlets, circuit boards, and panels.
- Blueprint and Schematic Reading: Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting: Strong ability to identify and resolve electrical issues, from wiring problems to component malfunctions.
- Electrical Code Compliance: In-depth knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes, ensuring all work meets industry standards and regulations.
- Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., voltmeters, multimeters, circuit testers) to install and repair electrical systems.
- Safety Awareness: Solid understanding of electrical safety procedures, including lockout/tagout practices, and safe work practices to minimize risks.
- Customer Service: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, understand their electrical needs, and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in varied conditions, including confined spaces, heights, and physically demanding environments.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
