Job Summary
responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in buildings such as offices, schools, hospitals, and retail spaces. They work independently or with a team to ensure all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with NEC codes and local regulations.

Pay Range
$28-$32 per hour
Install and run conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC) and pull wire for power, lighting, and low-voltage systems
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to plan and execute installations
Install and terminate panelboards, switchgear, lighting fixtures, and receptacles
Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical systems and equipment
Ensure proper grounding and bonding of all systems
Follow OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe job site
Work with apprentices and helpers, often providing guidance and training
Coordinate with other trades to meet project timelines and requirements
