Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Operator with experience in commercial, civil, or industrial work to join our team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, possess a great attitude, and be willing to hire on with Turner full-time once they complete their required hours. This “unicorn operator” will not only excel in operating equipment but also be willing to perform hands-on work as needed.

Pay Range
$25-$34$ per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including Mini Excavators, Skid Steers, Lulls, and Track Hoes.
- Perform hands-on labor tasks in addition to operating equipment.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and maintenance.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site.
- Train new crew members in the safe operation of equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial, civil, or industrial work.
- Certifications for Mini Excavators, Skid Steers, Lulls, and Track Hoes.
- Minimum OSHA 10 certification.
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work in various positions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Turner or similar general contractors.
- Knowledge of best practices in construction safety.
