Job Summary
The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery on a commercial jobsite. This role requires experience with cranes, dozers, track loaders, rubber tire loaders, track backhoes, motor graders, trucks, compaction equipment, and concrete pumps. The ideal candidate must have an OSHA 10 certification and a valid driver’s license.

Pay Range
$20-$23 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Heavy Machinery:
- Safely operate cranes, dozers, track loaders, rubber tire loaders, track backhoes, motor graders, trucks, compaction equipment, and concrete pumps.
- Perform tasks such as digging, grading, lifting, and moving materials as required by the project.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain an OSHA 10 certification.
- Documentation and Communication:
- Record and maintain operational data and logs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate operations and maintenance.
- General Labor:
- Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating cranes, dozers, track loaders, rubber tire loaders, track backhoes, motor graders, trucks, compaction equipment, and concrete pumps.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and manual labor.
Working Conditions:
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- May require working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Full-time position with potential for overtime.
