Pay Range
$26 per hour
1 Layout beams, columns, other per fabrication drawings to be ready to for welding
2 Weld using MIG and SMAW processes
3 Metal drilling, grinding, sawing, punching, shearing, etc as required
4 Prepare material for proper welding
5 Produce quality of work that meets the industry requirements
6 Apply the proper welds by reading and understanding fabrication drawings
7 Set up welding machines with correct amperage, voltage and wire speed
8 Keeping work area clean of trash and other debris
9 Keep equipment clean, ready for use, perform minor maintenance
10 Operate a forklift in a safe and responsible manner to move/position material
11 Report any equipment maintenance/failure to their immediate supervisor
12 Unload Delivery Truck when required
13 Any other task assigned
1 Pass a welding certification test
2 Understand verbal and written instructions
3 Work with minimal supervision
4 Read and understand fabrication drawings in order to layout material
5 Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
6 Read a tape measure
7 Advanced mathematical skills
8 Understand and pass safety training
9 Pass a forklift driver certification test
10 Work in a safe manner
11 Work with other team members in a constructive way
12 Comply with all company rules and policies
13 Comply with all company safety rules
