Job Summary
Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable General Laborer with carpentry experience to support maintenance and upkeep of MB Miller Pier and surrounding grounds in Bay County. This role involves performing routine repairs, assisting with construction projects, and ensuring the pier remains safe, clean, and functional for public use.

Pay Range
$16 per hour

Work Environment:
- Outdoor work on a public pier and surrounding areas
- Exposure to sun, wind, humidity, and marine conditions
- May require early mornings, weekends, or holidays depending on maintenance needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on pier structures, including decking, railings, and support components
- Assist with carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and installing wood and composite materials
- Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards or repair needs
- Maintain cleanliness of the pier and surrounding grounds (trash removal, pressure washing, etc.)
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely
- Assist with minor concrete, painting, and repair work as needed
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Follow all safety guidelines, including working near water and at heights
- Support other maintenance or labor tasks as assigned
