Pay Range
$20-28 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on both production equipment and the physical plant.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems of production equipment and the physical plant.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and electronic systems.
- Install electric and electronic systems.
- Provide electrical and electronic expertise to managers, supervisors, and other employees as needed.
- Assist other maintenance staff with general maintenance of production equipment and the physical plant.
- Wear all proper protective equipment as required by Safety Policy and OSHA standards.
- Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by practicing safe work habits, good housekeeping procedures, and adhering to safety guidelines.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic repairs and installation.
- Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and the use of a multimeter.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the company.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work instructions, operating instructions, maintenance information, and procedure manuals written in English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; able to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in an industrial maintenance or electrician role preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and document management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
