The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems on the assembly line at the GM Manufacturing facility in Concord, NC. This role requires 3-5 years of industrial work experience, with specific expertise in cable trays, panel termination, and conveyor belt systems. The ideal candidate must possess OSHA 10 and lift certifications.

Pay Range
$26-$30 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components on the assembly line.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation of the assembly line.
- Perform panel terminations and ensure proper connections and functionality.
- Install and maintain cable trays, ensuring proper routing and support for electrical cables.
- Maintain and repair conveyor belt systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including conducting regular safety inspections and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Complete and maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and safety reports.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient and effective operation of the assembly line.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
Skills and Specifications:
- 3-5 years of industrial electrical work experience.
- Proficiency in installing and maintaining cable trays, panel terminations, and conveyor belt systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights as required.
Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Lift certification.
