Job Summary
QLM is currently seeking Industrial Mechanical Millwrights. Industrial Mechanical Millwrights are responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This role ensures machinery operates at peak efficiency by conducting regular inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and adhering to safety and operational protocols. Millwrights work closely with other maintenance teams members and engineering staff to minimize downtime and optimize processes.

Pay Range
$24 – $30 per hour
Installation and Assembly
- Install, assemble, and align machinery and equipment such as conveyors, pumps, compressors, turbines, and presses
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure proper set-up and alignment
Maintenance and Repair:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, including lubrication, calibration, and replacement of worn components
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures.
- Fabricate, weld, and modify components as need to meet operational requirements.
Troubleshooting:
- Identify the root cause of mechanical issues and implement timely and effective solutions
- Utilize various tools to assess machinery performance

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of millwright, rigging, iron work
- Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, precision measurement tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to commit to 50+ hours per week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in and industrial setting
- Welding and fabrication skills (MIG, TIG or Stick Welding
- Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
- Capable of standing, bending and working in various position for extended periods
- Willingness to work in varying conditions, including hot, cold and noisy environments
