As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Pay Range
$28.00-$34.00 per hr
Qualifications of a Pipefitter:
· Proven experience as a pipefitter.
· Strong knowledge of piping systems, blueprints, and schematics.
· Proficiency with hand and power tools used in pipefitting.
· Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Good communication and teamwork abilities.
· Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities of a Pipefitter:
· Assemble and install piping systems according to blueprints and specifications.
· Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles using hand and power tools.
· Secure pipes to structures with clamps, brackets, and hangers.
· Inspect and test installed systems to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
· Repair and maintain existing piping systems.
· Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
· Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment
