Job Summary
Journeyman Plumber Job Summary We are looking for a licensed Journeyman Plumbers to assist with commercial plumbing projects. In this role, you will install new plumbing systems, waste and vent, domestic water cold and hot, and storm sewer systems according to blueprints, specifications, technical documents, and state and local codes. You will also oversee apprentice plumbers who have not achieved their journeyman status; they will assist the journeyman plumber. All employees must follow OSHA regulations and maintain a clean workspace.

Pay Range
$30-32 per hour
Journeyman Plumber Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install and repair plumbing and drainage systems.
- Test all plumbing systems and, if necessary, locate and fix leaks in the piping system.
- Able to work with cast iron no hub pipe and fittings, copper pipe and fittings, sweat and press, threaded, compression, and PVC pressure and DWV systems.
- Install or replace fixtures.
- Perform preventative maintenance as required.
- Clear drain blockages.
- Supervise apprentices on-site.
- Document issues and maintain good communication skills.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
- Journeyman Plumber Requirements and Qualifications: Current documentation required.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Completion of technical training through a trade school or apprenticeship.
- State License: Journeyman Plumber in good standing.
- Commercial plumbing experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Skills in reading blueprints, technical data, specifications, and equipment/material submittals.
- Physical stamina.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other team members.
